bicycles. Bicycles have a completely different
chain oil requirement than most other chain-driven vehicles.
There are several factors to consider when designing a bicycle
chain lube such as human and ecological friendliness, low
sprocket speed, maximum rider efficiency, and
tenaciousness. A bicycles chain rotates at a much slower
speed than a scooter or motorcycle chain, and rider
performance is also more noticeable since bicycles are
human powered. So a plant oil based light-weight
low-tenacity lubricant with natural lubrication additives
is necessary to properly lubricate and protect parts
in-between chain lube applications.

or preservatives.
